Day 7 - A picture of your most treasured item.

I love this! Someone very close to my heart made this for me. I have to say it really is one of the most amazing things anyone has made me. Well, besides the doll my MawMaw Faye made for me when I was a baby (it's old and only has one eye now) but no one probably wants to see that. ;) I always felt like as much as I tried to explain myself people still didn't understand how I felt or what I was going through. My close friend Clare understood me the most. She got me and was there EVERY single time I needed someone to talk too. Even if it was freezing outside. I couldn't be more thankful for someone like her in my life. Every person in the Thomas family I hold dear to my heart. All such amazing people with amazing spirits and personalities. I know that Heavenly Father answers prayers or even helps us through rough times, even if it is through a friend. Early in my teenage years I had a very low self esteem. I never thought I was beautiful or pretty or anything. I didn't take compliments at all. One day Clare came up to me and said something to me. I don't remember exactly what it was but I did know that I never said anything about that to her before. I asked her how she knew that and she replied, "I'm laurel president and I pray for each and everyone of you." So, Heavenly Father told her that I was having hard time with finding beauty inside myself. I'm pretty sure not in those exact words it was a long time ago. I think I was 16 or 17.  I was so thankful to have her and to have someone that understood me a little bit better. WE'd have talks and she would write things and it would be EXACTLY how I felt but I couldn't put into those words. I said wow, that's exactly how i feel at times. She told me she wrote it for me and said I wasn't the only one that felt that way. :) I am blessed to have such amazing best friends in my life and to know who my true friends are. We may be far apart and at different places in our lives now but doesn't change the fact that they WILL be there for the rest of my life. I am forever grateful!



Day 6- Trade places with whom?

I know I'm not going completely in order but I am still doing it. :)

This one is really hard for me to decide. I would love to trade places with a lot of people. It's hard to pick just one person. I don't know whether to choose a friend or to choose someone famous!??

So, why not do both????

See that beautiful lady with me??? That is Anie!!! If I were to choose to trade places with a friend, I'd choose her. I admire her strength! I love the person she is. I know that it wasn't easy for her to have the life she has. I know she's had a few rough patches in her life and to be the person she is; always positive and caring towards others. I wish I was as strong as her and that one day I will be a little more like her. I love how honest she is, never afraid to be blunt with me when I am in need for some advice. Our friendship came fast. Sometimes it's hard to remember where we met and how we became so close. It was really that fast! Anie is definately one of those people that deserves everything. I am one lucky person to know someone as amazing as she is. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE TAUGHT ME. You really have been a great example to me and you always will be. I love you bunches!!!!

CARRIE UNDERWOOD!

 

I picked Carrie Underwood because of the fact that she came from a small town not having a lot. & She continues to give back to others and that she is one the most respectful/modest celebrities out there. She has done things that I wish I could do. I would love to go to africa and volunteer to help with the orphangans or even donate money if I had money to give. I'd love to just be able to help them. Not only that. Her newest album song "change". She donated a certain amount of the money people paid for the album to save the children or some charity organization. I love that she gives back to those in need. That she hasn't forgotten who she is as a person. I respect her and love her music. :)

Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory.

I can't just pick one favorite memory. I have sooooo many! So, here are a few.

This was probably one of the funnest/funniest sleepovers we've had. I mean we've had a lot of sleepover and all were hillarous and fun but just something about this night that was AWESOME!

This is one of many trips to the park that we took. We practically lived at that park. & we had sooo many fun times there. Some that can't even be mentioned. :)

This was an amazing night. See that big blurred person...that's me. :) This was I believe the first night Anie and I got to hang out, outside a church event. She was one busy lady and I admired her for it. Therefore one of the best nights ever. :)

This was my one and only time I got to go back to Kansas to see old friends. The ENTIRE trip there was a memory not to be forgotten. :) LOVED IT!

&& This was a friday night and we were soo bored that we decided to dress up like the 80's and go out in the town of Leavenworth. We got a lot of weird looks but it was worth it. :)

So, those are some of my favorite memories. :) & hopefully more to come. :)



Day 04 - A picture of your night.?

This was last night. :) Not the exact night but this is what I did last night. I danced! Yes, with these two lovely ladies all night. I was pretty much exhausted by the end of the night. I had to be at work at 8am. I actually just got home from work. I had an hour and a half break then I was back to work. I didn't get off til 6pm. I am soooo tired and I need a bath...BAD! I was invited to go hang out with a friend tonight but I may be lame and just stay in. I know, I know...how lame! I don't have the same energy anymore. WHich is REALLY sad. I miss that energy. Well, I'm going to go shower and figure out what I'm gonna do. Have a lovely night. :)

Day 3- favorite tv show



  My favorite tv show is Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I watch a lot of tv shows that I record but this is the one I've watched since I was a little kid. I love that it helps families in need. It definately brings me to tears a lot. I don't mind because in the end it's a happy ending. It is my "dream job". If I could work with them it'd be an amazing opportunity. I mean I do know that it's a "DREAM" and just one of those jobs that'd be great to have but it'd be hard to get. I just want to help people. It's what I love to do. :) Well, I can only say so much for this topic. :) Have a lovely day!

Day 2 - A picture of you and the person you have been close with for the longest.?

"God made us best friends because he knew our parents couldn't handle us as sisters"

  This is my best friend/sister Janiece. We've been best friends for TEN years. :) The last four years we have been long distance best friends.  (: Crazy, huh? I admire her soo much. She has helped shape me to be the person that I am today. Without her I don't know what I'd do without her in my life. We've done pretty much everything together; canoeing, camping, fishing (gutting the fish), laughing, snowball fights, dance like no one can see us, sing on top of our lungs, cry, AND graduated with eachother. Life in KAnsas wouldn't have been as amazing without her. She made my time there amazing because I probably would have never gotten out of my shy phase, or been as outgoing if I hadnt met her. She is kind, and loyal and honest. Anything you'd want in a best friend. She is always there. So, she is the person I've then closest to the longest. :)

Day 1- Picture & Facts!



1.) I ♥ Photography. You can catch the simple beauties of life by just one click.
2.) I ♥ swing dancing, ballroom dancing...just dancing in general.
3.) I ♥ CHILDREN; playing, seeing them play and hearing them laugh. I love how they open up your outlook on life and how simply they can turn a not so good day to an amazing day in just a minute of being around them.
4.) I ♥ water/food/mudd fights. SO FUN!!
5.) I ♥ being LDS and I can't picture my life without it! (I have experienced life without it...and believe me it isn't what everyone in the world makes it out to be..It's pretty lame and dumb)
6.) I ♥ to talk but wish I were better at putting words to use. I'm not good at explaining or expressing myself.
7.) I ♥ yummy ice cream!!!
8.) I ♥ camping and anything to do with it (fishing, cliff jumping, swimming, campfires, etc.) and bring out my tom boy side!!!
9.) I ♥ people. I am a very people person. I just can't stand when others talk about others or make them feel worthless. Live your own lives, and just love everyone!! Everyone is different, look past it. not one person is the same. You aren't anyone to be judging, nor am I.
10.) I ♥ to change my hair color but it never comes out exactly how I wanted but I all ways love it anyways. I've been every color but black!
11.) I ♥ vintage things; buildings, furniture, rings, photos, and some of the clothes.
12.) I ♥ brightening someones day or at least trying too!
13.) I ♥ the south (Louisiana) and mid-west (Kansas/Missouri Areas).
14.) I ♥ my friends, especially my best friends!! I couldn't ask for better friends. I've been blessed (corny & cheesy, yes, but completely honest)
15.) I ♥ the feeling I have when I am at a service project. It makes me feel the happiest, and I have fun doing it!
